SMS Ltd is delighted to have received a contract award from EON via ODE for a Produced Water Treatment System project.

Thanks to the hard work of the Operations team, SMS won the contract against stiff local competition who had previously completed the initial offshore hook up. The system will be located on the Babbage Platform, 80 km off the coast of the UK, in the Southern North Sea. The complete package consists of the initial supply & installation of electrical & instrument components, cable, glands, junction boxes, tubing, fittings, valves & stauff clamps, unistrut, ladder rack & fixings, through to the final testing, flushing and commissioning.

The project is scheduled for completion by October 2012.
